First held in 1990, Ecocity World Summit is the pioneer global conference on sustainable cities. Every two years it brings together urban stakeholders from across the globe to focus on key actions cities and citizens can take to rebuild our human habitat in balance with living systems.
June 2023 marks the month where the Ecocity Summit arrives at the Barbican Centre in London. Across three days, representatives from across the community are coming together to formulate and implement plans for the future of cities like London. The Summit will be set against the backdrop of the London Festival of Architecture, a month-long celebration of city building and architecture where discussions and talent discovery takes place in the UK’s Capital.
Worldwide, the call for everybody to become more sustainable is top of the social agenda. From pedestrians to governments, we have a responsibility to creating an eco-friendlier existence in our cities, not only future generations, but generations living right now. This summit will focus on positive change and progress for cities and those who inhabit them.
From cities’ architecture down to their very infrastructure; future-thinkers will be sharing ideas and making plans for the next steps in urban landscapes.
