Hayes Davidson reflects on their annual charity event, HD5K, which took place in May in Hyde Park to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
More than 150 runners – the highest number ever – joined us on 15 May, with participating companies including AHMM, Allies & Morrison, Hopkins, Make, Veretec, Perkins & Will, BGY, Heatherwick, Cullinan and Assael.
Sporting the vibrant HD5K 2025 branded red T-shirts, specially designed by BOB, our runners looked spectacular, snaking around the 5km route and set against the lush backdrop of this beautiful park in the middle of London.
In the men’s category Taylor Rogers from Hopkins completed the run in 17.16 and took first place in our HD5K run for an incredible third time. In the women’s category, Isabel Bazett from Make took first spot with a time of 18.50, also chalking up her third win in the event.
Other placed-winners included Marcus Forsman also from Hopkins and Nathan Jones from Allies and Morrison in the men’s category, and Hayley Daniel and Evie Butler both from PwC, in the women’s.
This year, including match funding from the Alan Davidson Foundation, we have raised in excess of £40,000, with the final tally being announced in late June. Since our inaugural run in 2018, we have raised a total of over £360,000!
HD5K just gets better every year, and our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who has participated and supported us. We are proud to support MNDA in memory of our founder Alan Davidson. Our
fundraising webpage remains open for donations.
