Now it is one of the most prosperous London boroughs. It has high rates of business formation, relatively high levels of employment and well qualified, skilled residents.

The Borough’s economy is diverse with a thriving and creative small business economy. The US Embassy and the Royal College of Art have decided to locate and invest and the Nine Elms area is attracting considerable investment interest.
