Federico Garcia Parra is responsible for managing and developing relations with the company’s key global customers, Fortune 500 strategic partners and industry organizations, including the Council on Vertical Urbanism (CVU, formerly CTBUH), NLA, the Urban Green Council (UGC) and the International Facility Managers’ Association (IFMA).
Federico also leads Otis’ global Customer Advisory Board to engage key stakeholders. This year’s focus will be on exploring accessibility, safety, and user experience improvements for elderly elevator passengers with reduced mobility or impaired faculties, incorporating cultural attitudes toward ageing across regions.
In his previous role as Director of Marketing and Communications for Global Major Projects and Key Accounts, Federico supported the development of Otis’ major projects business as well as the company’s high-rise building, transport infrastructure, hospitality, and retail segments worldwide.
Since 2013 Federico also serves as Professor of Practice in marketing for MBA students in several academic institutions in Spain, North America and China. Since 2019 he is a Mentor in NLA’s NextGen program that supports and promotes emerging talent from across the built environment. Fluent in four languages, Federico holds a Master of Business Administration from SDA Bocconi School of Management at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He was selected for the school’s MBA Exchange Program with the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Illinois, in the USA. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the EU Business School in Madrid, Spain.
