James Atherton is Development Director with The Crown Estate with a track record in mixed-use development across the UK and Italy. James is leading the delivery of The Crown Estate’s investment in Regent Street and Piccadilly, incl. high-profile projects such as One Hanover Street, 33-35 Piccadilly, and 21-29 Glasshouse Street as well as a significant 2nd phase of development. He is passionate about sustainability and investing carbon wisely in the delivery of best in class projects in the heritage setting of the West End of London. Previously, James held senior roles at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, managing major developments including Office and leisure developments at Westfield Stratford City and contributing to landmark projects in Milan and other UK cities.
