Kimberley works at Westminster City Council, where she is currently the Head of Planning Policy. She is an example of talent being grown within the council, having started her career there 19 years ago. A graduate of Bournemouth University and the University of Westminster, she has a wide breadth of experience of developing evidence-based policy, building trust with stakeholders and providing advice and direction to Members, senior officer and partners on planning policy matters.  

 

She led the development of the council’s City Plan, adopted in 2021, and is currently working to launch a full review of this plan. A strong advocate for nurturing professional development of her team, she is also committed to supporting diversity in the planning sector, through a work experience partnership with the RTPI.
