Patricia’s strategic advisory and non-executive work spans disciplines, sectors and geographies. The common thread is connecting: ideas and possibilities, places and people, opportunities and ambition, focused mainly on improving cities and places, creating better experiences and prospects for people and economies. 

 

Her work has been a significant catalyst in urban change, leveraging the private sector’s early interest in active stewardship in improving London’s liveability and urban quality, which she saw as fundamental to London’s economic competitiveness. Foundational initiatives flowed from this, such as bringing BIDs to the UK and tangible action on improving public realm and experience, with Legible London and Trafalgar Square’s pedestrianisation as two high profile examples.

 

Her focus remains on positive change for today’s needs and societal shift, building strong public/private relationships and partnerships to achieve common cause. Patricia is a strategic adviser to a range of landowners, developers, local authorities and infrastructure bodies. She sits on a range of profit and not-for-profit boards. She was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of the Built Environment in 2025.
