Intensive care: innovations in hospital design, Powered by PechaKucha

Talk

Thursday 24 November 2022
19:00 - 20:00

How can innovations in the healthcare sector and the development of new and improved hospital projects provide specialist care and increase access to healthcare in cities, creating jobs and improving local communities?
This PechaKucha brings together architects and engineers to present projects that demonstrate new design solutions and innovations in hospitals, showcasing new projects and how they are responding to the increasing needs of the sector. How have these hospitals considered their surrounding local areas? How accessible and connected are they to their communities? How do they seek to revitalize local areas and improve patient experience?

From masterplans and new hospitals, to state-of-the-art research facilities and mental health hospitals, we will hear how these projects are improving patient experience through innovation. Can these projects inspire innovation elsewhere in the sector?

Join us for this PechaKucha as we hear from industry leaders about inspiring hospital projects with specialist care at the centre.
