In association with NLA, the Mayor of London has recently launched an exhibition showcasing the data services offered by the planning team. It is now live at The London Centre and open to the public.

This exhibition displays the Mayor’s visionary approach to the use of data in enhancing the delivery of planning and housing objectives. Innovative tools have been designed to provide more information to speed decision-making and foster sustainable growth.

Who should visit?

The exhibition sets out a suite of services that provide comprehensive and accessible planning data. The exhibition is suitable for planning and development professionals, students, educators, researchers, and other members of the public interested in using data for decision-making and research and delivering a more resilient and vibrant London.

Data services featured include:

  • Planning DataMap: A robust spatial analysis tool for visually representing London’s conservation and opportunity areas.
  • High Streets Data Service: A subscription-funded service offering critical insights into indicators of commercial activity such as footfall and spending across London.
