Dipa is an architect with 30 years’ London based design experience in various sectors - 20 in residential led regeneration; and is passionate about building better communities. She is now a Civil Servant working for the MHCLG on the New Homes Accelerator programme. She was previously Director at Assael Architecture and then Partner at Fletcher Priest Architects; producing sustainable, quality design on mixed-use projects, including Herringham Quarter in London, HafenCity in Hamburg and Cherrywood in Dublin. She has also worked at board level for a Housing Association and a Community Action Group, in regeneration and asset management for two London Local Authorities and as a first cohort Mayor's Design Advocate; on the Housing and EDI steering groups. Dipa mentors, teaches and examines at Sheffield University and the Bartlett (UCL) as well as advising on Design Review Panels (Ealing and Merton) and carrying out public speaking engagements.
