Femi Oresanya
Femi has over 30 years of architectural experience in the public and institutional, corporate, commercial, high-end residential and hospitality sectors. He is highly‑skilled at leading multi-disciplinary teams on sensitive, high-security government and public projects, many within listed and historically-significant buildings. These include the redevelopment of the UK Ministry of Defence Main HQ, modernisation of many properties within the wider MOD estate, and design and refurbishment of a number of UK law courts for the Ministry of Justice. Femi has recently headed up the team for the Snaresbrook Crown Court roof repair and replacement project, the Old Bailey Central Criminal Court plant replacement project and MOD HQ relocation project, ‘Project Blueprint’. Femi is also an honorary visiting professor at The Bartlett School of Architecture, as part of the Professional Studies Team and is current Chair of RIBA’s ‘Architects for Change’ group, in which capacity he led publication of the RIBA Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy Paper, which focuses on Social Mobility, Gender Parity, BAME Representation, LGTBQ+ Communities, Mental Health/Wellbeing, Religion/Belief, and Disability.
