Francesca Colloca is an innovation strategist focused on delivering social, economic and environmental impact through place-based change. Her career spans urban regeneration, regional economic development, housing, education and grassroots community development, with a consistent track record of building effective partnerships across the public, private, third and academic sectors.
As Head of Innovation at the London Legacy Development Corporation, Francesca has led the establishment of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as one of London’s recognised Innovation Districts. Her work brings together the full stack of innovation infrastructure — physical assets and spaces, data and testbeds, and the support systems needed to scale impact — alongside an ecosystem of hundreds of organisations.
Community impact and co-design are central to her approach, aligning directly with LLDC’s mission to drive inclusive growth for London. This mission-led model places inclusive and responsible innovation at its core, with a focus on Health, Habitat and Talent.
