Gian Cabanas is a Structural Engineer at Elliott Wood. His portfolio includes a number of ambitious workplace schemes, including Grainhouse, a complex transformation of five heritage buildings into a cohesive, flexible workplace and 38 Berkeley Square, a 12-storey hybrid steel-CLT office building.

Gian also has a keen interest in bamboo engineering, winning the first prize in the IStructE’sYoung Structural Engineer's International Design Competition in 2020 for his innovative bamboo-based design of a flood-resilient village.
