Ian has over 20 years of experience working in the built environment sector across four London Boroughs. As Corporate Director for Regeneration, Planning & Delivery at Waltham Forest.

Ian oversees the borough’s growth strategy and delivery of its wider regeneration programme. As part of this Ian has been the senior Council lead working in partnership with Barts NHS to prepare and deliver a master plan for the re-development of Whipps Cross hospital as part of the national programme of new hospitals. This will establish a new 15-minute neighbourhood in Waltham Forest, delivering 1,500 homes, open spaces and community facilities alongside a new state-of-the-art hospital.
