John is an Associate Director at Momentum Transport Consultancy where he directs projects within London and the UK. He is a qualified Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineer who has worked in the traffic engineering and transport planning industry for 15 years. Having worked in Australia, the United Kingdom and Ireland, John has acquired a broad knowledge base in the traffic and transport industry, and has undertaken numerous projects for both private developers and Government Agencies, across a range of industry sectors.

 

In 2016 he led the transport services for the business case of a second Sydney Harbour Tunnel and was seconded to the government sector assessing various tunnel portal connections to local highways.

John also has experience working in traffic engineering and traffic safety requiring accident investigation for Highways England.

 

His past projects have ranged in size, from detailed design advice in developments with highly constrained accesses opportunities; to the preparation of transport planning submissions and leading through the construction process.  More recently, John has led the transport planning input for major commercial  and residential developments in Central London supporting a number of clients. Project examples include 55 Gracechurch Street, 70 Gracechurch Street, 85 Gracechurch Street, Red Lion Court – Southwark, 1 Stonecutter Court and 21 Lombard Street.
