Ken Shuttleworth is recognised as one of the world’s leading architects. Over his 50-year career, he has worked on some of the most groundbreaking architectural landmarks in the world.
In 2004, Ken founded Make, an award-winning employee-owned practice with a reputation for design excellence. Prior to this he built up a remarkable portfolio of experience as a partner at Foster + Partners.
Ken has overseen Make’s global portfolio of tall buildings, from the City of London’s 40 Leadenhall and One Leadenhall, to Pinnacle One in Chengdu, China and Brookfield Place Sydney, Australia.
Ken is a former President of the British Council for Offices, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a member of the UK Government Advisory Group on Professional and Business Services. He holds several honorary doctorates, and regularly contributes to industry magazines and lectures at architecture schools in the UK and abroad.
