Simone has specialized in the field of inclusive design for approximately 30 years and benefitted from working on some incredible projects, developing her knowledge on what contributes to the creation of inclusive environments. Simone has worked for Transport for London (TfL) for the past six years and led the instigation and development of PAS 6463, Design for The Mind, for which TfL were the main sponsors. 

Simone represents TfL on both the Mayor’s Advisory Infrastructure Panel (AIP) which brings together a diverse range of leaders from Infrastructure and development sectors to inform the Mayor’s work programme; and on the British Standards Institution (BSI) B559 committee which is responsible for drafting design guidance BS8300. Simone is involved in a number of other organisations to promote and develop inclusive design principals for the benefit of all.
