Crowdfund Enfield: A Partnership Model for Community-Led Neighborhood Change
Crowdfund Enfield is a partnership between Enfield Council and Spacehive using Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) funding to support community-led neighbourhood improvement across the borough.
Launched in September 2025, the programme was created to provide a more visible, accessible and empowering way for communities to shape local projects and influence investment within their neighborhoods. Through a blend of civic crowdfunding and Council match funding, residents, grassroots organisations and local groups are supported to deliver projects focused on wellbeing, inclusion, youth provision, environmental improvement and community infrastructure.
Round One supported nine projects, generated more than 40 project pages and raised over £68,000 from more than 400 backers across the borough.
Crowdfund Enfield is helping redefine how councils and communities collaborate to deliver neighbourhood change.
