The retrofit agenda within the construction industry continues to expand and evolve, but what are the key challenges that we are faced with today?

Different building typologies require different methodologies that can lead to a lack of resources and skills needed to retrofit successfully. What are the key factors to consider when faced with the challenging task of reducing embodied and operational carbon, wasting less, re-using materials, and adopting renewables, and how can these be prioritized?
