John Robertson Architects produces carefully considered, contextual and modern designs that deliver real value to clients. Its work is guided by the principle of contextual civic modernism, aiming to preserve the historic fabric and character of our cities, whilst adding to them with contemporary buildings that enhance the experience of the city as a whole.
Since its formation in 1993, the practice has delivered a substantial number of high quality buildings both in the UK and abroad. Its work includes many education, office and residential schemes, as well as sensitive restoration and redevelopment projects of significant historical and architectural value.

JRA’s offices are based in the Bankside area of Central London across five studios. The practice's teams have considerable expertise in the higher education sector and JRA has an established fit out team dedicated to this type of work.
JRA is currently working on a wide range of exciting and challenging new-build and refurbishment projects, as well as interior design commissions. Recent projects that JRA has completed include King’s College London’s Strand campus, 1-19 Torrington Place for University College London and the commercial development, 33 King William Street for HB Reavis.
