More than 130 runners joined us on 19th May, to take part in our annual charity run HD5K which raises money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, with participating companies including AHMM, Allies and Morrison, RSHP, AL_A, Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt, DNCO, Vitra, WW+P, and Hopkins.
Sporting this year's new green HD5K 2026 branded t-shirts specially designed by BOB Design, our runners looked brilliant, threading through the tree-lined paths of Hyde Park in the heart of London.
In the men’s category, Tim Ashworth from Alan Baxter Architects took first place, completing the run in 18 minutes 10 seconds. Elle Thompson from RSHP beat the event’s female track record, with a time of 18 minutes 39 seconds.
Other podium winners included John Wynne from DNCO and Nathan Jones from Allies and Morrison in the men’s category, and Nika Kowalska from AHMM and Cara Malcolm from Alan Baxter Architects in the women’s. Jane Craik, Alan Davidson's sister, was the top individual fundraiser, raising a remarkable £1,585!
This year, we have raised in excess of £36,000, including the generous match funding from the Alan Davidson Foundation. The final amount will be announced later in the summer. Since HD5K first took place in 2018, we have raised a total of nearly £400,000!
We are so proud of how the HD5K community has grown, and incredibly grateful to everyone who has run, cheered, and donated over the years. Every pound raised goes towards vital global research into Motor Neurone Disease and support for those affected by it. Our
fundraising webpage remains open until the end of June, and we cannot wait to see you all for the 10th HD5K in 2027!
