As a chartered, senior materials engineer, Emily has a wealth of expertise in materials sustainability, from embodied carbon and life cycle assessments through to ecotoxicity and biomaterials. She recently co-authored ‘Circular Biobased Construction in the North East and Yorkshire’, overviewing the current biobased construction industry in the region and evaluating the potential to scale.
