Five projects have been shortlisted for the NLA Awards 2026 Mayor’s Prize, recognising outstanding contributions to a better London.

Selected by Greater London Authority officers and Mayor’s Design Advocate Jonathan Hagos, the shortlist celebrates the ambition, expertise and collaboration shaping the capital. Spanning affordable housing, inclusive education, commercial retrofit, public realm and temporary accommodation, these projects demonstrate the difference London’s built environment can make to people’s lives. 

The winner will be revealed at the NLA Awards Lunch on Thursday 19 November, when more than 650 people from across London’s built environment come together in the Great Hall at Guildhall.

NLA’s annual lunch is an opportunity to celebrate shared achievements, exchange perspectives and build the relationships needed to shape London’s future. The whole built environment community is invited to join the occasion.
